The Titanic star Kate Winslet has proven her worth when she won the Best Actress award for her extremely good performance in the movie "The Reader". This is her first Oscar's Best Actress award. The movie was an adaptation of a German novel about a law student's love affair with an older woman post in World War II. Kate Winslet also won the Golden Globe and British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) for best actress for "The Reader". She had been earlier nominated for the Oscar six times, including that for her role in "Titanic", but it was "The Reader" that got her the coveted trophy for the first time. Congratulation's Kate!!!

The Heiress Paris Hilton admitted that she did indeed dated George Clooney recently but she denies the ongoing rumor that they are an item already. Paris noted that she is not yet ready to have a new relationship after her break-up with boyfriend Benji Madden last year.
