Tyra Banks has been named woman of the year because of her position as a role model for women worldwide and because of her business sense. This award was given to her by OK! Magazine.

Tyra has been accidentaly tagged as "Beached Whale" when she had her infamous pose taken earlier this year which showed her curvy and sexy figure in a tight swimming custome. Tyra fought back by saying that most American woman today is size 12 or 14 and if they are saying that if she look totally disgusting in that picture her detractors are actually saying that most American woman are disgusting as well. Tyra also insited that the picture were taken from a bad angle and then took her revenge by wearing a swimming costume in her very own show The Tyra Banks Show".
