Actor- Action star Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison on tax charges last Thursday, which is a victory for prosecutors who sought justice and to make an example to some stars by aggressively pursuing the maximum penalty. U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges said Wesley Snipes exhibited a "history of contempt over a period of time" for U.S. tax laws, and granted prosecutors the three year sentence they requested — one year for each of Snipes' convictions of willfully failing to file a tax return. Too Bad for our Blade star Wesley!!!

Snipes got lucky. He was part of a conspiracy to evade taxes and should have gotten 8-10 years. Oh well at least he'll get some real prison time, and he'll be considered a felon for the rest of his life. Just another typical case of black contempt for the law.
