Britney Spears is prepared to go to trial in her offense driving-without-license case after rejecting an appeal offer of a year’s probation and a $150 fine according to her lawyer. The pop singer who is already 26 as of to date was being targeted because she’s a celebrity and doesn’t deserve even a small criminal conviction on her record stated by her lawyer J. Michael Flanagan during a Los Angeles court hearing. He said he would instead consider an infraction for Britney and a lesser fine. Her trial is set for Oct. 15 in Van Nuys.
