Jennifer Hudson has set her foot back to performing live. After pulling out of her new music video shoot last week since according to a very reliable source close to Jennifer, the Oscar winner is still grieving and not yet ready to go back to work. But she added that Jennifer will soon be performing again. A new report has been released that she is set to perform at the 2009 MusiCares Person of the Year gala held during Grammy week. Jennifer will be performing at the said event together with Tim McGraw, Josh Groban and the band Coldplay. Let's all pray for the continuous healing of Jennifer Hudson!!!

The Grammy-nominated singer is scheduled to begin filming a music video for the single If It Isn't Love next week according to her label J Records. Jennifer was supposed to start filming this video clip in Los Angeles when her mother, brother and nephew died in a tragic event. Jennifer Hudson hasn't made any public appearances since the tragedy, however she issued a statement last week after being nominated for four Grammys for her debut album. It seems that the crime committed to Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew will end soon. The Cook County state attorney's office has just officially charged Jennifer's former brother-in-law William Balfour with the said murder slay. He's been charged with three counts of first degree murder and one count of home invasion. In their presser, which just ended, the State's Attorney and cops said they're confident about their case, which some unnamed sources have claimed is mainly circumstantial. They said they do have physical evidence tying William Balfour to the scene, and emphasized they did not cut a deal with William Balfour's girlfriend to elicit her testimony. Let's wish this will be it so that Jennifer can find her piece of mind.

Jennifer Hudson's former brother-in-law was arrested in connection with the murder of the singer/actress mother, brother and nephew. Jennifer's sister Julia married William Balfour but the marriage ended up in a divorce. William denied the allegations and stated that he has nothing to do with the slaying even though Illinois police linked him to the gun that has been used for the killing. Just this December 01, the Chicago police issued William a warrant of arrest in connection with the triple murder. The accused was in custody in Stateville Correctional Center on a violation of a parole since the killing. Jennifer Hudson on the other hand, has been in hiding since the tragedy and has cancelled a string of promotional duties related to her self-titled debut album, which was released just weeks before the tragedy.

Jennifer Hudson’s missing nephew was found dead according to Cook County spokesman. Jennifer Hudson’s nephew Julian King was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds. The source stated that it was two shots in the head that killed the young boy.

The star’s mother, Darnell Donerson and brother, Jason Hudson were the two victims of a fatal shooting that occurred in Chicago. This was released by her publicist. The victims’ bodies were found by officers Friday in a South Side home listed in the name of Jennifer’s mother, and police say the shooting appeared to be related to a domestic disturbance. Besides the fatal death of her mother and brother, Jennifer’s nephew Julian King, is missing. An Amber Alert has been issued for him. We all wished that Jennifer survived this trial.
