The Titanic star Kate Winslet has proven her worth when she won the Best Actress award for her extremely good performance in the movie "The Reader". This is her first Oscar's Best Actress award. The movie was an adaptation of a German novel about a law student's love affair with an older woman post in World War II. Kate Winslet also won the Golden Globe and British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) for best actress for "The Reader". She had been earlier nominated for the Oscar six times, including that for her role in "Titanic", but it was "The Reader" that got her the coveted trophy for the first time. Congratulation's Kate!!!

Titanic star Kate Winslet has finally resolved her weight issues and she is thanking her Titanic co-star Leonardo Di Caprio for this one. The pair teamed up for the first time since the 1997 blockbuster for new movie Revolutionary Road. Kate Winslet is adamant Leonardo DiCaprio's pep talk on the set of the disaster movie helped her come to terms with her body issues. During their Titanic years, Leonardo said to Kate that if she wants to be famous she needs to get the little fatty thing out of her body and since then, Kate began exercising, dieting and going to gym in routine. I guess it did worked for her since she looks so hot, sexy and tempting now.
